UNESCO International Fellowships/Awards

UNESCO provides fellowships to promote capacity building in the Member States, confers awards, and prizes to recognize and appreciate the activities of individuals and organizations, which are working to promote the ideals and objectives of UNESCO. Nomination for these fellowships and awards are made by Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO(INCCU) to UNESCO, upon the recommendations received from the concerned Ministries, Departments, Organizations and also be concerned institute/individual. Details regarding these fellowships and awards are put up on the MoE website with a view to soliciting applications/nominations. These fellowships may also be accessed at the UNESCO website www.unesco.org. Some of the important fellowships, awards and prizes awarded by UNESCO are given below:
