Dear Sir/Madam, \n\n I would like to know certain information under RTI Act 2005. Please refer to the letter of MHRD (FiIe No.6-13/2018- TS-I) which was sent to Prof. Surendra Prasad and Prof. Sanjay G. Dhande. According to this letter, IIT Guwahati vide letter AD/120/MHRD/00/Vol.21/09 dated 1- 1-2019, along with all its enclosures, have furnished their comments on the allegations of corruption made by Dr. Brijesh Kumar Rai through his representation. \nIn this regard, please furnish me the following information:\n\n\n1) Please provide me a copy of the letter (letter no. AD/120/MHRD/00/Vol.21/09 dated 1- 1-2019) along with all its enclosures through which IIT Guwahati has furnished its comments.\n\n2) Please let me know whether it is true that the Standing Committee, formed to look into the appeals/representations relating to IITs, is supposed to give its report within 30 days.\n\n3) Please let me know whether the Standing Committee, formed to look into the appeals/representations relating to IITs, has submitted its report about the matter given to them vide letter (FiIe No.6-13/2018- TS-I) within 30 days.\n\n4) Please provide me a copy of the inquiry report/recommendation submitted by the Standing Committee about the matter communicated to them vide letter (FiIe No.6-13/2018- TS-I).\n\n5) Please let me know whether it is true that Standing Committee, formed to look into the appeals/representations relating to IITs, is supposed to contact the complainant as per the terms of reference of the committee. \n\n6) Please let me know whether Standing Committee, formed to look into the appeals/representations relating to IITs, has ever contacted IIT Guwahati authorities and/or Dr. Brijesh Kumar Rai. If yes, please provide all the letters/orders communicated between Standing Committee and IIT Guwahati and also all the letters/orders communicated between Standing Committee and Dr. Brijesh Kumar Rai.\n\n7) If committee has not yet submitted its report, please let me know me the person/persons responsible for the delay.\n\n8) Please let me know the remuneration given/promised to Prof. Surendra Prasad and Prof. Sanjay G. Dhande to inquire into the matter of alleged corruption made by Dr. Brijesh Kumar Rai through his representation and give their report/recommendations.\n\nRegards,\nBrijesh
