Following information is sought under RTI act 2005 with regard to the staff car used by the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India:\n\n(1) Please provide the name of the manufacturer, year of the manufacture, date of purchase and the model of the staff car being used by the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India.\n\n(2) Please provide the price of the above mentioned car.\n\n(3) Are Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure rules and austerity instructions regarding purchase of staff car applicable for the purchase of the above mentioned car\n\n(4) Was the purchase of the above mentioned car done as per the rules and austerity instructions indicated in point (3) above
