Dear Sir/Madam, In order to transform the entire ecosystem of public services through the use of information technology, the Government of India has launched the Digital India programme with the vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. \nWrt the above, We would like to have the following information.\n1) The details of actions taken and/or being proposed to minimise use of papers in Governments across India, by both state and central governments.\n2) The details of actions taken and /or planned to minimise the use of papers by PMO,Department of Telecom, MoEFCC, Ministry of HRD and other ministries and departments of GOI.\n3) Are there any plans to ban manufacturing of Legal size papers.\n4) The competent authority to whom the grievances/ complaints be submitted to reduce use of papers and legal size papers in Government departments and in establishments.\nThanking You
