Dear IIT Kanpur Team, This is regarding the query I sent on your public emails and twitter handle couple of times in anticipation of response but did not receive any. So, I am seeking the information using the RTI act. Background- I wanted to know about the process of opening a small food and beverage kiosk (startup) in a small area of 90-100 sqft on a rental and wanted to seek more info about the process which I could not get to know instead of contacting couple of times. Via RTI, I need the response on the following queries: 1. The process of opening a small kiosk within IIT campus. (I believe if Dominos or Cafe Coffee day want to enter a college/corporate campus, they do not go through tender model since these are brands with specialized services). Similar is my model for which I need a small space. Kindly update me about the process to go ahead with same. 2. I would like to know the process followed by UrbanCrave Ola Pedal etc. to enter IITK Campus. If there was any particular tender notice issued by you, kindly refer as I could not find it anywhere in the public domain. I believe IITK promotes entrepreneurship and support the ones who take up the plunge to startup. Giving a small space of around 100 sqft on a rental basis would not be a big thing for IIT Kanpur management. I request you to allow me to setup my kiosk inside the campus.
