On 11th Jan, 2017, IIT Palakkad had released an Advertisemnt, inter alia, for recruitment for the post of Registrar in which the upper age limit is precribed as 50 years. In this regard, kindly furnish the following further info : 1. Whether the Recruitment Rules or noms for the above posts including the Registrar with the aforesaid Age limit is approved by the MHRD or by the BoG of its mentoring Institute i.e IITM. 2. Whether the post advertised is in confirmity with the Guidelines or regulations on the subject, if any, prescribed by the MHRD or UGC. 3. If the RR or noms for the above posts advertised are not in confirmity with the Guidelines on the subject, who has approved the deviation and is he or the Body competet to do so. 4.
