Dear Sir,\n\nI have requested for the following information:\n\nThere are so many Institute funded by Central govt. in India like IITs, NITs, IISERs, NISER, CSIR labs, DST labs, Universities, etc. \n\nI want to know the following information:\n\n1.A. How many faculty positions were available in IITs in different subjects in different categories (GEN/SC/ST/OBC etc.) and how many were filled since last 10 years.\n\n1.B. What is the ratio of the IIT faculties who did PhD from India and Abroad in basic sciences.\n\n2.A. How many faculty positions were available in NITs in different subjects in different categories (GEN/SC/ST/OBC etc.) and how many were filled since last 10 years. \n\n2.B. What is the ratio of the NIT faculties who did PhD from India and Abroad in basic sciences.\n\n3.A. How many faculty positions were available in IISERs in different subjects in different categories (GEN/SC/ST/OBC etc.) and how many were filled since the beginning. \n\n3.B. What is the ratio of the IISER faculties who did PhD from India and Abroad in basic sciences.\n\n4.A. How many faculty positions were available in central universities in different subjects in different categories (GEN/SC/ST/OBC etc.) and how many were filled since last 10 years.\n\n4.B. What is the ratio of the central university faculties who did PhD from India and Abroad in basic sciences.\n\n5.A. How many Scientist positions were available in CSIR labs in different subjects in different categories (GEN/SC/ST/OBC etc.) and how many were filled since last 10 years. \n\n5.B. What is the ratio of the CSIR lab scientists who did PhD from India and Abroad in basic sciences.\n\n6.A. How many Scientist positions were available in DST labs in different subjects in different categories (GEN/SC/ST/OBC etc.) and how many were filled since last 10 years. \n\n6.B. What is the ratio of the DST lab scientists who did PhD from India and Abroad in basic sciences.\n\n\nI was advised to contact the CPIOs concerned to the different IITs separately. But, the RTI request, Reg. No.: DOHED/R/2016/52572/3 was forwarded directly to the respective IISERs from the previous CPIO.
