I hereby declare that I am a citizen of India and request you to provide me following information under RTI Act, 2005:-\n\n1) Certified copy of current rules & regulations of the scheme under which Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering (GATE) qualified students of Master Of Technology (M. Tech.) course are provided assistantship.\n\n2) Certified copy of rules & regulation of the scheme under which GATE qualified students who took admission in M. Tech. course in the academic session 2014-15, were/to be provided assistantship.\n\n3) Certified copies of all the orders/directives/instructions issued till date, related to the scheme of providing assistantship to GATE qualified students of M. Tech. course.

Sir/Madam,\n With reference to my RTI query having Request Registration Number as DOHED/R/2016/50818, I would like to bring to your notice that vide this RTI application, I have sought certified copy of rules and regulations of assistantship/scholarship scheme for the students (who were GATE qualified) admitted in full-time MTech course in the academic session 2014-15. \n I have also sought certified copy of the rules and regulations of the above mentioned scholarship/assistantship scheme that are in place as on date. \n I have also sought the certified copies of all orders/directives/guidelines issued by government of India related to this scholarship scheme.\n I have not been provided the sought information. Moreover, CPIO has forwarded my RTI application to IIT, Kharagpur for getting information about the rules and regulations of GATE exam that was conducted in 2014 by IIT, Kharagpur. I have not sought information about GATE exam. Instead, I have sought information about the scholarship scheme.\n\nThank you & Regards\nSandeep Tripathi
