Respected Sir/Mam, Myself a Ph D student at IIT Roorkee getting fellowship (Institute assitantship) from MHRD. As all major agencies has increased the amount of fellowship like DST, DBT, UGC etc. And UGC start giving also since Dec2014. I want to know that upto when MHRD fellowship will be increased. To, Shri Alok Mishra Director IITs Honorable sir, with due respect and humble request, i want to know that as per your letter to IITs as attached here with F. No. 17-2/2014- TS.1, candidates getting fellowship from MHRD have to get increased emoluments from Jan-2015, but still we are not getting it. Inspite other students having UGC-JRF start getting increased emoluments. So sir, kindly tell us how much more time it will take for increment of fellowship from MHRD grant. And what will be the increment for fellows with M.Tech Background means those who get only 4 years fellowship. Kindly reply, as soon as possible.
