sir when i took admission in IIT(BHU) Varanasi in m.tech for session 2014-16, i was charged placement fee of rs.1500/-, receipt no-14-15/O/2917, dated 30.08.2014. this was compulsory for all. again this year in month of july 2015, training and placement cell has charged rs.200/- per student for those who are willing to sit for placements in the name of card registration. this is common for even b.tech and dual degree students i want to know the reason behind collection of two fees. also when everyone has paid 1500/- at the admission time why they are made to again pay the fee. who will take these money also i want to know total amount collected from previous batches for these activities and actual amount spent. where is the remaining amount collected.
