2815 DOHED/R/2015/60956 nil I am Vanama Teja (Registration no: GG66016S4247). I have appeared for Gate 2015 in GG paper and attempted the Geology section in Part B. The answer key and my responses for Gate 2015 exam were released on the gate 2015 website. I have checked the key with my responses and found that I have not been given the marks for the question in Part - b, Geology section which asks us to calculate the estimated grade at point Xo using the Inverse distances weighting method because of a minor rounding off error. The exact answer for this question is 1.80327869 and I have answered it as 1.803. In the answer key released on the Gate 2015 website the answer is given as 1.8 (which has been rounded off) and hence the marks were not awarded to me although my answer was right.
