2764 DOHED/R/2015/80221 nil I have some specific queries based on the O.M. released on 02/03/2015 by MHRD: 1) According to the O. M. graduates with GATE/NET and Post-graduates both in professional courses will be awarded JRF (Rs. 25000/- per month) for first 2 years. On what basis this some value has been calculated. Dose it mean M.Tech/M.E. and B.tech/B.E are equivalent according to MHRD. 2) If B.E./B.Tech with NET/GATE and M.E./M.Tech are equivalent then why the tenure for there research period with stipend is different (5 years for graduates and 4 years for under graduates) or is it same (5 years with stipend for both category.) 3) According to the O.M. scholars with M.Sc or B.E./B.Tech with NET/GATE qualification will get Rs. 25000 for first 2 years and Rs. 28000 for rest of the time (55% hike from previous slab of Rs. 16000 and Rs. 18000). But, for scholars with M.E./M.Tech will be given same stipend i.e. Rs. 25000 per month (38.89% hike from previously Rs. 18000 per month) for first 2 years and Rs. 28000 per month (40% hike from previously Rs. 20000 per month). Which means scholars with M.Sc or B.E./B.Tech will get 55% hike for 5 years and scholars with M.E./M.Tech will get about 40% hike for 4 years. Why is the disparity present for post graduates in professional courses. 4) The previously O.M. on 18/02/2015 by MHRD stated that scholars will get Rs. 28000/- per month for 4 years but the latest O.M. states that they will get Rs. 25000/- per month for first two years which means a reduction of Rs. 72000 from their net stipend amount for 4 years. In the opposite side, scholars with M.Sc or B.E./B.Tech will get Rs. 25000 for first two years and Rs. 28000 per month for remaining 3 years but, in the O.M. on 18/02/2015 by MHRD it was Rs. 25000/- per month for 5 years which means an increment of Rs. 1,08,000 in their net stipend amount in the latest O.M. Why this discrepancy present. 05/03/2015 nil Reply attached View nil nil nil nil nil nil
