Undersigned joined Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad on January 6, 1986. However, ISM, Dhanbad placed the undersigned erroneously in the Contributory Provident Fund scheme. The lIT (ISM) Dhanbad (earlier ISM, Dhanbad) rectified this mistake and placed me under the GPF-cum-Pension Scheme, vide office order no. CPF-GPF/2017-Estt. dated September 1, 2017. Unfortunately, this notification no. CPF-GPF/2017-Estt. dated September 1, 2017 has been kept under abeyance till further orders by lIT (ISM) Dhanbad vide office order no 10800/2018, dated February 13, 2018 as per the direction of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. On February 22, 2018, the undersigned sent a request to the Secretary (Higher Education), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi through the Chairman, Board of Governors, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad and Director, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad for intervening the matter and taking early restoration of the Office Order no. CPF-GPF/2017-Estt. dated September 1, 2017 regarding placement of the undersigned in GPF-cum-Pension scheme of IIT (ISM) The files relating to the release of pensionary benefits to the undersigned was sent to MHRD, GOI during April 2018 by IIT (ISM), Dhanbad for necessary approval. Again, the undersigned has submitted an application to the Director, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad on April 3, 2019 for early restoration of the Office Order no. CPF-GPF/2017-Estt. dated September 1, 2017 regarding placement of the undersigned in GPF-cum-Pension scheme of IIT (ISM). Nearly, one and a half years have passed since the order to keep pensionary benefits under abeyance was issued, but no information has been received. In view of the above, please intimate the undersigned the following: i) Status of my application to the Secretary (Higher Education), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi dated February 22, 2018. ii) What action the MHRD has taken to restore my pensionary benefits, which has been kept under abeyance for the last one and a half year.
