Hi Empowerment of disability affairs committee,\n\nI am a disabled person basically hailing from Assam.I am suffering from Cerebral palsy(spastic Triplegia) since birth and uses wheelchair for mobility. I am a post graduate engineer pursued my education from IIT Delhi in Electrical Engineering and recently I passed out from there and convocated in 2018.Right now, I am working in a MNC as Artificial Intelligence expert in Bangalore.\n\nI want to serve my nation but your Annexure C: Posts Identified for Persons with Disability Group A hinders me to do so. Being a Cerebral Palsy guy, my both legs are disabled and the physical requirements written there are horrible for me.\n\nso, I cant even apply for any government services like IES, IAS, RRB etc and Public Sector Undertaking Companies for this obvious reasons. I am out of competition even before i apply for any services.\n\nNow, I am thinking to join Research area i.e by joining any Phd Programme in IISC or IIT but my mind strikes with a question which i would like to ask your committee i.e.\n\n1) whether after Phd, Am i eligible for faculty position in IITs or NITs or any University in Electrical Engineering or any discipline.\n\nSecond Question, \n\n2) If some PSU or University willing to accept my condition and make a necessary provision like suitable workplace for condition likes me besides my category of disabled and physical requirements does not match with your so called Annexure:C(Group A).In that situation can they absorb me in their organization as an employee. \n\nwith kind regards,\nRupam Bhattacharjee
