Please state whether such a candidate after being qualified the joint UGC-CSIR JRF/NET in Life Sciences or with a PhD degree is eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in various government/ Private colleges called from candidates having an M.Sc in Botany/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Immunology,etc. or any allied subjects related to life sciences. So the degree is awarded as Bachelor of Science in BIOLOGY and Master of Science in BIOLOGY but not particularly specified as BOTANY/ZOOLOGY as mentioned in IFoS minimum qualification requirements as per the above notification)\n\n8.The syllabi/courses of IISER Mohali for Biology majors has been attached as the supporting document.
