in a recent decision, committee of UGC recommended a revision of scholarships on Nov. 17, 2014 and said that decision will be valid from 1 Dec., 2104. But in IIT Delhi for december months scholarship no increment has been received as here Post Graduate (PG) students got admission through GATE. 1. Why the revised scholarship has not been disbursed to students. give reasons. 2. Which agency of the govt. issues scholarships for PG students and what is the exact route through which these scholarships came. 3. IITs have imposed different conditions for getting scholarships like some condition of academic performance. this condition is not uniform in all the institutions disbursing scholarships to GATE QUALIFIED students. why is it so. is there any condition applied by issuing authorities. if yes, please give the clear condition.
