Subject to provisions of the Statutes of IIT Ropar, I seek following information under RTI Act 2005:\n\n(1) How many times, IIT Ropar has requested visitors (Honourable President of India) approval for Re-employment/appointment of superannuated/retired professors at IIT Ropar. Please provide attested copy of each such request. Also provide attested copy of visitors approval/disapproval to each such request. \n\n(2) How many times, IIT Ropar has requested visitors (Honourable President of India) approval for appointment of eminent persons at IIT Ropar. Please provide attested copy of each such request. Also provide attested copy of visitors approval/disapproval to each such request. \n\n(3) Please provide a copy of the office memorandum with subject: Re-employment of retired faculty members reg, dated October 2015, communicated to the Directors of all IITs. PIO may please note that this memorandum pertains information regarding non-acceptance of Re-employment of retired faculty in old IITs, while the same was allowed for new IITs.
