Dear Madam, Please refer to the reply sent by MHRD Technical Section-1 for the above RTI application. I would like to apply for first appeal as per RTI Act 2005 Q1) The reply is satisfactory. Q2,3) As per the DoPT OM dated 24 Sept 2010, referred in the reply, the information not available with MHRD should be posted to respective IITs by the applicant. If the information sought does not pertains to MHRD that means MHRD does not sanction/approve these posts. Moreover budget for each IIT which is allocated/approved by MHRD must be taking cognisance of the money spent on the faculty salary payment. So these information sanction/present faculty strength should be available with MHRD. Q4) The reply is satisfactory . Q5) The question was asked specifically to MHRD which cant be answered by IIT. There will be certain guidelines set by MHRD for faculty selection. Also all IITs are annually reviewed by MHRD under ranking system hence question pertains to MHRD. Thanks Ankit
