(SCT) dt 8/9/1993 of DoPT under Clause 6 (INCOME/WEALTH TEST) the expression that, Income from salaries or agriculture land shall not be clubbed, is this applicable to Clause VI(a) ONLY or applicable to BOTH VI(a) and VI(b).\n\nAttached for your reference is the letter of Joint Secretary , Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Smt Swapna Ray, which says that, the income from salaries and agriculture land are not considered for determination of creamy layer. And only the income from Other sources determines the creamy layer status.
