I am selected for IIT admission under OBC-NCL category. My father is a govt. employee as Asst. Account Officer (Group B) in Defence Account Department under Ministry of Defence and Finance and his salary is 8 lacks 33 thousands in the financial year 2016-17. He joined the service as a clerk (Group C) in 1996. My mother is a housewife. My family has no other source of income. I fall in OBC category (caste NAI, Resolution No. 12011/68/93-BCC (C) dated 10.09.1993). So Please clarify, am I eligible for getting the benefits of OBC (Non creamy layer) for admission/appointment to institution/posts under the Government of India.
