Request was made before MHRD under RTI Act 2005 on Application copy of all candidates who had applied and interviewed by MHRD for the post of Director, IISER Bhopal at its first term in 2008 and second term in 2013. The CPIO provided information on minutes of meeting for 2013, but denied information for 2008 claiming the file relating to the appointment of Director, IISER Bhopal during the year 2008 is not readily available at this distance of time. The appellant request to kindly provide the requested information for year 2008 through this first appeal that provides sufficient time to manage the said file of Director, IISER Bhopal appointment in 2008, i.e., minutes of meeting, candidate details shortlisted, committee members etc. as applicable. \nThe copies of application of each candidate who had applied and interviewed for the post of Director, IISER Bhopal was denied by CPIO referring restrictions under section 8(j) of RTI Act 2005. The candidates competed for the post of Director, IISER Bhopal are candidates for public service of Govt. of India for service of the nation upon which citizens of India have interest and application copies contains professional information only overruling any privacy data as PIO cited. Being large public interest and not relating with unwarranted invasion of privacy of individuals the requested information is requested again through this appeal to provide the copies of all applications of applied and interviewed for the post of Director, IISER Bhopal during 2008 and 2013 term.\n
