SUBJECT: INFORMATION ON THE NUMBER OF PERMANENT FACULTIES IN NEW IITs\n\nDear Sir/Madam\n\nUnder the provisions of RTI Act 2005, I would like to know from your department the latest data on the number of vacant posts for permanent teaching faculties in the eight new IITs namely- IIT-Mandi, Jodhpur, Hyderabad, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Ropar, Indore and Gandhinagar. \n\nAlso, kindly mention the sanctioned number of same posts in each of the eight IITs by the HRD ministry. \n\nTherefore, I humbly request you to furnish the data on the sanctioned, filled and vacant number of posts for permanent faculties each IIT college-wise of the new eight IIT colleges. Hope for an early reply and cooperation.
