Does IIT spend any Tax payers money on such visits If yes, to what extent in percentage terms of the entire cost of the trip per student If no, where from is the fund arranged 2. Furnish the documents detailing procedure followed by your Institute for deciding upon a destination/university/institute of GFS. 3. Is the destination entirely decided by students of the batch 4. Clarify how nomination/ for these visits are sought from students of each batch visiting GFS. Provide documentary evidence of such communications between Institute and Individual students of each batch, seeking nominations for the latest two GFS trips. In absence of any such communication kindly clarify the reasons. 5. Provide transcripts of communications between Dean of Department (DMS)with that of the visiting Institutions/Industries for last two trips in current year. 6. Isnt it mandatory to have a faculty from your department, accompany students on each GFS If yes, who pays for travel and accommodation of this faculty If no, how does your Institution ensure, monitor discipline on such trips, do you leave it entirely on students 7. Why were only a handful students of MBA Executive Batch 2012-15 favoured to proceed on GFS in latest Trip in the current year Why didnt the Institute seek nomination from all students of the Batch of MBA 2012-15 Executive before deciding anything Why wasnt transparency maintained What was the criteria behind selection of these handful students On what basis was the clearance given to these students 8. Have candidates belonging to reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) been given an opportunity or informed about all these trips Provide written communication made between dean/responsible faculty and the reserved category students and else general category students of the batch of 2012-15 Exe-MBA regarding the latest GFS. 9. Was the Institute / Department in known of the last GFS tour (by DMS-IIT 2012-15) being planned without a Faculty How does the institute justify that this was not an entertainment trip planned by a few students who fooled the entire Institute 10. Have the students proceeding on this tour kept IIT in dark about any aspect If so, what action does IIT plan to take against these students 11. Does IIT seek tour reports from the Faculty If, yes provide synopsis of each of these reports.
