Whether the Extension of benefits of Retirement Gratuity and Death Gratuity to the Central Government employees issued in the circular O.M. No. 7/5/2012-P&PW(F)/B dated 26.08.2016 by Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare, is also applicable to the tenure / contract employees of the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).\n\n2. Whether employees, permanent / tenure / contact employees, of Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) are covered under the National Pension System 2004 and are eligible for gratuity and other pensioner benefits\n\n3. Whether any restrictions have been imposed by the Ministry not to extend these benefits to tenure / contract employees of that Institution who have completed 5 years of continuous service\n\n4. Whether any conditions have been imposed to the employees of CFTIs that an employee of that Institutions is eligible for gratuity only once in life time even if he is directly recruited and worked in a tenured position in that institution as his second employment\n\n5.
