I am hereby seeking certain information related to conversion of Optees of Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) to General Provident Fund (GPF) at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad after year 2014. \n1. Whether DHE, MHRD has accorded any approval for such conversion (CPF to GPF) at IIT(ISM). If yes, the copy of the approval may please be provided.\n2. Whether the Apex Body of IIT(ISM)/ EB/ FC or FC/BoG has been empowered to approve such conversion. If yes, copy of such order of MHRD in this regard may be made available.\n3. Whether DHE, MHRD has issued any order to IIT(ISM) for not implementing such conversion/ holding/ initiating recovery of amount on account of such conversion. If yes, the copy of such order may please be provided.\n4. If the answer to Q3 is yes, what action has been taken by IIT(ISM) Dhanbad and what action thereof DHE, MHRD has taken.\n5. How many other Institutes/ Autonomous Bodies (ABs) under MHRD have been permitted to exercise conversion of optees of Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) to General Provident Fund (GPF).\nThe requested information may please be furnished immediately.
