Subject: Information under RTI act
Dear Sir/Madam,
Following information is required under RTI act:
1. Kindly provide Standard guidelines for scaling/normalization of marks of a test conducted in multiple sessions and Standard guidelines for equi-percentile method for deciding ranks of candidates who have appeared in a common test conducted in multiple sessions.
2. Suppose for organization X, a recruitment test which consist of four sections (General awareness, Logical reasoning Quantitative aptitude and English) was conducted in multiple sessions on two different days.
On first day first session total 54924 students appeared in the test.
On first day 2nd session total 47837 students appeared in the test.
On 2nd day in a single session only 1855 students appeared in the test.
Can scaling/normalization of marks be applied on the above condition (i.e. having 54924 students in one session , 47837 students in 2nd session and only 1855 students in 3rd session).
Can equi-percentile method for deciding ranks of candidates be applied in the above condition.(i.e. having 54924 students in one session , 47837 students in 2nd session and only 1855 students in 3rd session).
