The RTI request was filed with Department of Expenditure seeking following information 1. Certified copies of Letters received from Department of Higher Education(DOHE) seeking advice/clarification for enhancement of Dearness Relief to pensioners of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in calendar years 2016 and 2017. Please also provide dates on which such letters were received by the Department of Expenditure from DOHE and the dates on which replies were sent by Department of Expenditure. 2. Certified copies of the replies sent by Department of Expenditure in response to all such letters mentioned in point-1 above. 3. In case, replies were not sent for any particular letter of DOHE, please provide certified copies of file notings in all such cases. This was transferred by Dept of Expenditure to DOHE. However, DOHE has not provided any information on the points above. It may also be noted that in an earlier RTI request, the same information was sought from DOHE. However, the information on point no.6 was not supplied stating that the file is with dept of expenditure. A copy of the response from DOHE is attached. When the same information was sought from Dept of Expenditure, they transferred the request to DOHE which again failed to supply the required information. Kindly arrange to provide the information sought.
