Here on, by Institutes, I mean to refer to the autonomous Institutes (under MHRD) like IISERs. The dog nuisance in the institutes has increased beyond the tolerance level, for that very reason these queries hold importance. My queries are as follows : 1. What are the steps that the autonomous Institutes (under MHRD) like IISERs, can take, to curb the problem. Give details. 2. Can the Institutes, relocate the dogs in a designated confined area of the Institute. If No, for what reason. Give details. 3. Can the Institutes, displace the dogs away from the Institute in a human way. If No, for what reason. Give details. 4. Can the Institutes, give away the dogs for adoption to any person/NGO. If yes, what are the procedure to be followed. If No, for what reason. Give details.
