अल्पसंख्यक संस्थानों में अवसंरचना विकास के लिए स्कीम (आईडीएमआई)
निजी सहायता प्राप्त/बिना सहायता के अल्पसंख्यक स्कूलों/संस्थाओं में अवसंरचना को बढ़ाने के लिए आईडीएमआई प्रचालनात्मक बनाया गया है ताकि अल्पसंख्यक बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता को बढ़ाया जाए। आईडीएमआई की मुख्य विशेषताएं निम्न हैं :
- यह स्कीम अल्पसंख्यक संस्थाओं में स्कूल अवसंरचना को बढ़ाकर और मजबूत करके अल्पसंख्यकों को शिक्षा में सुविधा देगी ताकि सुविधाओं का अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों के बच्चों के लिए औपचारिक शिक्षा का विस्तार किया जा सके।
- स्कीम पूरे देश को कवर करेगी परंतु तरजीह 20 प्रतिशत से अधिक अल्पसंख्यक आबादी वाले जिलों, ब्लॉक और नगरों में स्थित अल्पसंख्यक संस्थाओं (निजी सहायता प्राप्त/बिना सहायता के स्कूल) को दी जाएगी।
- स्कीम, अन्यों के साथ-साथ, लड़कियों, विशेष जरूरत वाले बच्चों और जो अल्पसंख्यकों में शैक्षिक रूप से अत्यधिक वंचित हैं, को शैक्षिक सुविधाओं के लिए प्रोत्साहित करेगी।
- स्कीम निजी सहायता प्राप्त/बिना सहायता वाली संस्थाओं के अवंसरचना विकास को वित्तपोषित करेगी और यह मौजूदा स्कूल, जिसमें अतिरिक्त कक्षाएं, विज्ञान/कम्प्यूटर प्रयोगशाला कक्षों, पुस्तकालय कक्षों, प्रसाधन, पीने के पानी की सुविधाएं और बच्चों, विशेष रूप से लड़कियों के लिए छात्रावास भवन शामिल हैं, में शैक्षिक अवसंरचना और वास्तविक सुविधाओं को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए 50 लाख रु. अधिकतम के अध्यधीन होगा।
