Are retirement benefits like retirement gratuity, death gratuity, service gratuity and family pension applicable to employees covered under National Pension System (NPS) of autonomous bodies like IITs, Kvs etc. Please provide copy of relevant order/rule.\n\n2. A central government employee is appointed on a higher post in an autonomous body by applying through proper channel and submitting technical resignation to his parent department. In autonomous body:\n\na. Will his past service be counted for all service benefits like gratuity, family pension etc. Please provide copy of relevant rules.\n\nb. Will he get pay protection if his basic pay in parent department was more than the entry pay of the higher post in autonomous body. Please provide copy of rules under which his pay will be fixed.\n\nc. Will leave at credit in parent department be carried forward to autonomous body.
