Provide information about all schemes which support IITs and NITs, along with conditions to be fulfilled to avail such Scheme. 2. Schemes which support procurement and management of High-end equipment in Institutes of National Importance (IITs and NITs etc.), along with conditions to be fulfilled to avail such Scheme. 3. Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility in IIT Madras and SIF Facility in IISc Bangalore is maintained by DST and committee constituted by DST. a. What is the purpose of such SAIF and SIF. b. Does DST Financially support SAIF facility and SIF Facility. If so, kindly provide details such financial assistance or budgetary allocations of last 4 Years to SAIF, IIT Madras, and SIF Facility IISc Bangalore (If fund is contributed by both IIT Madras/IISc Bangalore and DST, kindly mention figures separately each year). 4. What is the criteria to be fulfilled to avail such facility (i.e. SAIF Facility under the guidance of DST and SIF Facility) by new IITs or new/old NITs or IISERs etc.
