The applicant wants to know in IITs and NITs what will be the fate of a research scholar after registration and completion of the PhD tenure with fulfilling all the norms and conditions including requisite number of publications with successful up-gradation from JRF to SRF of the respective institute either self-sponsored or sponsored by the institute itself in the following conditions. 1. Death of the supervisor. 2. Unwillingness of the supervisor to give degree to the student in any issue. 3. Unwillingness of the student to take degree from the supervisor in any issue. 4. The student lodge complaint against the guide or supervisor on harassment or so.
