Respected Sir, I have a doubt on File NO. 17-2/2014-TS.I of Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Higher Education) regarding Revision of rates of Ph.D. Scholarship in AICTE funded and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. My Question Is that : (1) Are the Students pursuing their Ph D under the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of National Institute of Technology getting this hike fellowship. (2) I am pursuing Ph D at NIT under the department of Humanities and Social Sciences. My qualification is Mater in Social Work (MSW) is a professional course and have qualified UGC- NET. I am getting the scholarship of Rs. 16000. Now can i get the hike fellowship

Respected Sir, The information which has provided to me is incomplete. We came to know the institute like IIT Madras, IIT Roopar, and Etc has already received/given the hike fellowship (with arrears ) to students pursuing Ph D in Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. Some institute, In their Ph D notification has mentioned hike stipend (They dont have mentioned 16000 for HSs department) eg. IIT Gandhinagar and some other institute. So, Please give us the correct information about our hike fellowship This rule is same for all NIT (student pursuing Ph. D under the department of Humanities and Social Science with UGC NET) or not also clarify.
