Respected Sir As the MHRD funded institute fellowship to all the institute (IITs and NITs). After coming the circular no F.N0.17-2/2014-TS.I dated 2-3-2015 all the institute started paying hike fellowship to their students. But issue is with the department of Humanities and social Sciences and MBA departments. Some institute is paying the hike fellowship with the same circular but some institutes (e.g. NIT Rourkela) are not agree with this circular that there is no where mentioned this hike fellowship is meant for the Humanities and social science and MBA department. (Documents attached) Hence, provide the information of my below four questions: 1) Is there any special notice to each institute related to this hike fellowship for the department of humanities and social sciences 2) As on the basis of above said circular some institutes are giving hike fellowship to their students belongs to Humanities and Social Sciences Department. My question is that NIT Rourkela (Odisha) is coming under this circular or not. 3) Those institutes are giving hike fellowship then under which special circular they are giving the hike fellowship to the student of Humanities and Social Sciences. 4) If question 2 is NO then give us the information of each and every IITs and NITs the amount of scholarship are getting the students belongs to Humanities and Social Sciences department with UGC NET qualification.
