Subjects of Study / Minimum eligibility requirements Category "A" (3 months)

1. Level B1 Courses in Italian Language and Culture
Eligibility: University Degree and have passed at least one university level Italian language examination, and other eligibility criteria as requested by the chosen Italian institution.
2. Courses in Italian Language Teaching
Eligibility: Applicants must be Graduate foreign teacher with documented experience in teaching Italian as a Foreign Language (IFL).

Category "B" (6 or 9 months)

Fashion Technology, Economics and Management, Italian Language, Information and Communication Technology, Environment, Biotechnology
1. Individual University courses (Level –II)
Eligibility: University degree

2. Advanced professional training, art and music courses
Eligibility: University degree

3. iii) Courses in Italian Language teaching
Eligibility: Applicants must be Graduate foreign teacher with documented experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language (IFL)

4. Masters Degree courses (Levels I or II)
Eligibility: University degree corresponding with the Italian first or second Level degree depending on the Master course chosen and eventual other documentation as requested by their chosen Italian institution.

5. Doctorates Courses
Eligibility: M.Phil.

6. Schools of specialisation
Eligibility: Eligibility: University degree corresponding with the Italian first or second Level degree depending on the Master course chosen and eventual other documentation as requested by their chosen Italian institution.

7. Singly or jointly supervised study or research projects
Eligibility: University degree corresponding with the Italian first or second Level degree depending on the Master course chosen and eventual other documentation as requested by their chosen Italian institution.

Note: The research project proposal must be submitted with the application, in addition to letters of acceptance from the professor or expert supervisor of the research project proposed by the applicant.

Scholarship Amount The scholarship amount of Euro 700 per month is for stay in Italy as well as for the course fee.
No international/national passage is offered by the Government of Italy for any of these scholarships.
No international travel cost to and fro Italy or local travel cost while in Italy for any Category of the above Scholarships will be paid either by the Government of Italy or by the Government of India. Therefore, an undertaking to the effect (as in Annexure-II) that the international travel cost to and fro Italy and local passage while in Italy (if any) will be borne by the candidates or his/her employers/sponsors should also be submitted along with application.
Application Procedure Application in prescribed format with attested copies of testimonials, photograph, programme of study/research, fitness certificate, two letters of introduction from Indian academic authorities and other documents may be submitted or plain paper. Employed persons are required to send their applications through their employer.
