I am a 5th year student of Mining dept., IIT kharagpur. Sir/Madam, I am department topper and wanted to pursue Phd. in my college so I wanted to inquire more about the PM fellowship which have been declared a few months back by the PM. Whether it will be surely implemented by next academic year and who all will be getting the benefit of that scheme. My father has some money concern so if I get this fellowship then my father will more likely agree and I will also not waste my time for preparing for placements for some other sector jobs starting this December.I will be able to focus my mind for Phd. work in the very next semester.\nSo kindly clarify about that scheme whether it is surely going to be implemented or not and by what time.\nThanking You.\n\nYours sincerely \nKumar Shwetank
