72 DOHED/R/2019/51323/4 nil As prescribed in schedule E, Annexure-A of NIT statues(Amended 2017) (Reference Gazette of India no.651,dated July 24,2017) and subsequent clarification as Annexure-B, the qualification and other terms and conditions of Appointment of Academic Staff are mentioned. It says that all new entrants shall have a PhD and first class in the preceding degrees(Bachelor degree onwards). I have first class till graduation(completed in 2009) I have done MA(English Literature in 2011 with 58.40 percentage (2nd Class) and PhD(rewarded in 2018) afterwards. Since I got 2nd class in MA, I am not eligible to apply for the Academic Posts as per the criterion mentioned in the above gazette. My questions are: Considering that I fulfil all the other criterion, If I do an MA(English Literature again) for 2 years and score 1st Class: 1)Would I be eligible to apply for the Academic posts of NITs as per the qualifications prescribed by the above mentioned gazette. 2)Also, IITs, IIITs, IISERs and other similar institutions follow the same criterion with respect to appointment of Academic staff i.e. first class in preceding degrees. Before 2nd June 2019, I had checked on internet my OMR sheet and official Answer Key and was assured of 600 marks. But now that final result is out, I have got only 208 marks. Kindly issue me my OMR sheet of NTA NEET 2019 because I strongly feel that something has gone wrong somewhere. Without OMR sheet I have no option left at my disposal.
