1. Are retirement benefits like retirement gratuity, death gratuity, service gratuity and family pension applicable to employees covered under National Pension System (NPS) of autonomous bodies like IIMs,IITs etc. 2. Will the past service of a central government employee who is appointed on a higher post in an autonomous body like IIM, by applying through proper channel and submitting technical resignation to his parent department be counted for all service benefits like gratuity, family pension etc. Please provide copy of relevant rules/orders. 3.Is MACP scheme applicable to the employees of IIMs 4.If yes in Sl No.3 please provide the rulings of financial up-gradation scheme followed at present by IIMs. 5.Will the service rendered in autonomous bodies be counted as central government service for the purpose of applying direct recruitment examinations conducted by other central government organisations/departments .
