In the 52nd IIT Council Meeting it was decided that for calling the PSUs to the COMMON OFFER ACCEPTANCE PORTAL (COAP), the MHRD Minister himself will chair a meeting with the CMDs of the to PSUs. Is the date of the meeting fixed yet Because in the 51st IIT council meeting it was decided that the PSUs will be called but it is not possible till now i.3. 18 months passed and no solution is seen. So, if the meeting will be delayed then the Minister will be busy in the Madhya Prased and Rajastan Election and again we have to wait for the 53rd IIt council meeting and in 2019 there may be a new minister will tae the charge of HRD. So, Please do the meeting with the CMDs of PSUs as soon as possible and find a long term solution.\nA cutting from the Hindustan Times..... The council also discussed the issue of vacant seats in different postgraduate courses offered by IITs. One of the biggest concerns highlighted was that students leave the postgraduate M.Tech seats after getting job offers from PSUs. The matter has been put off for a further discussion in a meeting with heads of various PSUs under the chairmanship of the Minister of Human Resource Development.\n\nNow the officials are saying the file is in the table of MHRD minister and the S of minister does not responding about this issue. I think this is a very serious issue. So, I need to know the date of Meeting with the CMDs of the PSUs with the MHRD minister. Do not write you are waiting for a convenient date. From your side you have to do press conference about this issue but for this work we have to waste 10/-.
