1. Prof. K. N. Ganesh is the founder Director of IISER Pune and he has completed 10 years in the office. Still he is continuing as the Director, IISER Pune. Provide the copy of the Order from the MHRD by which he is still continuing his job as Director, IISER Pune. 2. Prof. N. Sathyamurthy has attained the age of 65 and retired from IIT Kanpur. Still he is the Director of IISER Mohali. Is there any fresh order by which the MHRD has extended his tenure as Director. If so, provide the copy of the order. 3. Prof. R. N. Mukherjee is completing his term as Director, IISER Kolkata on 31st January 2017. The MHRD has already directed the BoG of IISER Kolkata to bring a proposal for Statute Amendment (F. No. 35-10/2016- TS.VII (Pt) dated 20. 12. 2016 and F. No. 35-10/2016- TS.VII (Pt) dated 23. 12. 2016). The clause, as directed by MHRD says, In the event of a vacancy arising in the post of a Director of an IISER on account of completion of his/her tenure, resignation or death, the Central Government with approval of the Visitor may either extend the term of the incumbent Director, if he is so willing, or entrust the charge of the post of the Director to the senior most willing Professor, clear from Vigilance angle, for a period not exceeding six months at a time or till the appointment of the regular Director or till further orders, whichever is the earliest. Is it the regulation followed by the other Organizations/Institutes governed by the NITSER Act.
