REVISION OF PENSION Of PRE 2006 PENSIONERS DELINKING OF REVISED PENSION FROM QUALIFYING SERVICE OF 33 YEARS 1 Please refer to Government of India Ministry of Personnel Office Memorandum GOI OM No. 38/37/08 P&PW(A) dated 06 April, 2016. (copy attached). 2 IIT ROORKEE in its communication to me vide letter No. Pension Cell /6171/P-2016 dated 20 June 2016 has informed that the Government Order has not been implemented in the absence of any communication from Ministry of HRD. 3 In view of the above I wish to seek following information on the subject (a) Has the Government Order mentioned in Para1 been received by Ministry of HRD. (b) If yes, has any communication been made to the IITs including IIT ROORKEE by the ministry for its implementation. If so copy of such communication may please be provided. (c) If no communication has been made, then the stand of the Ministry on the subject and reason thereof be provided including all file notings and deliberations in writing. (d) The future course of action planned by Ministry of HRD to implement the Government Order with time line along with all file notings and deliberations in writing be also provided.
