1 ) There is a problem of stipend increase in The Ministry of Human Resources dept ( F.NO.l7-2/2014-TS.I , dated 2nd march )about the M Tech students who are pursuing for PhD degree at present . why There is no clarity whether they will provide the same amount to them for five years. Someone who has an M.Tech is already senior to someone who has a B.Tech or an M.Sc degree. So they should get a Senior Research Fellowship Rs 28000 per month if they go for a PhD or higher technical course. Right now the MHRD has no clarification on this. GIVE clear clarification in this regard . 2 ) As per notice The Ministry of Human Resources in February announced its 55% pay hike in scholarship but why student pursuing PhD degree after M.Tech pass will get Rs 25000 per month at NITs. why not Rs 28000 as per calculation of 55% hike . GIVE clear clarification in this regard . 3) what about the contingency funds amount limit in NITs . who decide how much the contingency fund should be for PhD students perusing in their NITs , it varies from Rs 10000 to more than Rs 50000 per academic year in some NITs . GIVE clear clarification in this regard . 4 ) What about Medical insurance claim of PhD students at NITs . If a student is not admitted in any medical insurance tie up hospitals , will be get the benefit of insurance scheme what if he takes outdoor treatment without getting admitted in any hospitals . can he gets the benefits of medical claims .

1 ) What will be the present scholarship of a new PhD student who has got M.Tech , B.Tech degree 2) As per 55 % hike announced so in that case a Engineering PhD student getting Rs 18000 earlier must get near about Rs28000 as per new notice but why its Rs 25000. 3) Give clear clarification the relation between JRF, SRF with technical engineering PhD student . 4) On what basis the scholarship of JRF, SRF is compared with engineering PhD students perusing in any NIT . 5 ) Let me know is Engineering PhD students perusing in any NIT is entitlement to travel by 2nd AC by rail. for participation in scientific events/workshops in India or not . kindly provide me hard copy of any circular where it is mentioned that PhD student is entitled in 2nd AC by rail because in some NIT earlier it was 3rd AC in railway. 6) What about the contingency funds amount limit in NITs . who decide how much the contingency fund should be for PhD students perusing in their NITs , 7) what is the standard grant from MHRD to institute for contingency fund for PhD students in NITs and IITs , provide me hard copy in this regard 8) I want to know how many NITs and IITs in India is giving contingency fund to the engineering PhD student per year from 2012 to 2015 . what is the maximum amount they get per year for it.
