174 DOHED/R/2019/51091 nil here has been complete lack of transparency in JEE MAINS 2019 by NTA. There are chances of fraud and corruption by NTA officials. There was huge mismatch in marks vs percentile across various shifts, which is only possible due to some large scale fraud, as difficulty level was not that much at variance. for ex. in 10th April Morning shift 238 marks got 99.35 percentile, while in 9th April Morning shift 235 got only 98.3 percentile. with above background, as I am also one of the affected party (my son appearing in JEE Main 2019) please provide following information: 1. How many students were registered in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 2. How many students actually appeared in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 3. How many students scored 300 marks and above in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 4. How many students scored 280 marks and above in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 5. How many students scored 260 marks and above in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 6. How many students scored 240 marks and above in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 7. How many students scored 220 marks and above in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 8. How many students scored 200 marks and above in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 9. How many students scored 180 marks and above in each of the 16 shifts (shift wise) of JEE MAIN Paper-1, for which exam was conducted by NTA during January 2019 and April 2019. 10. How many students who appeared in January 2019 JEE Main Paper-1, were registered in April 2019, 8 shifts, please provide the info shift wise. 11. How many students who appeared in January 2019 JEE Main Paper-1 and scored more than 98 percentile, were registered in April 2019, 8 shifts, please provide the info shift wise. please forward the info to concerned CPIO if the information is not available with you under intimation to me. please provide info through e-mail and post both. there seems to be large scale fraud in JEE Main exam conducted by NTA. large number of students who scored high percentile in January JEE MAIN attempt were clubbed in few shift particularly on 8th & 9th, probably to give advantage to few students in some specific shift. 11-05-2019 nil Reply attached View DOHED/A/2019/60161 vide letter dated 14.5.2019, my RTI was transferred to CPIO, NTA. CPIO NTA has failed to provide the information till date. it is shocking that NTA website there is no information regarding RTI CPIO or FAA. Therefore, I humbly request that my appeal may be transferred to FAA in NTA. CPIO, NTA may be suitably penalized for not proving the information in timely manner. FAA NTA may be directed to send all information to my e-mail id sanjaysinghal3@gmail.com I would further like to add that NTA has miserably failed to conduct JEE MAIN exam in fair and transparent manner. that is why, it is not providing/ delaying the vary basic information sought by me, which has nothing to do with individual privacy. there seems to be wide spread corruption in the conduct of exam. I shall request MHRD to examine following basic aspects and conduct an inquiry: a. nos. of candidates registered in each of the 16 shifts of JEE Main Paper-1 exam conducted in January 2019 and April 2019. b. nos. of candidates appeared in each of the 16 shifts of JEE Main Paper-1 exam conducted in January 2019 and April 2019. c. Shift wise distribution (nos) of students in JEE Main Paper-1 April 2019, who also appeared in January 2019 JEE Main paper-1. d. Mean score of top 1000 students in each of the 16 shifts of JEE Main Paper-1 exam conducted in January 2019 and April 2019. it is mentioned that that the result (particularly for 8th April 2019 & 9th April 2019) shifts reveal that (a) there might have been a wide variation in difficulty level across the shifts, which is a complete failure on the part of NTA or (b) the distribution of bright students across the shifts in April 2019 JEE main was deliberately done in a manner that most bright students based on their JEE Main January 2019 percentile, were clubbed in few shifts to give advantage to few selected students in a particular shift by clubbing them with students who got lower percentile in January 2019 JEE Main exam. As you are aware that BITS 2019 exam session was rigged by solving the papers remotely using the remote desktop software. such possibility cannot be ruled out for JEE Main 2019, particularly April 2019. Results for same marks on different dates are so different, which is a direct reason for doubt. for example student with 238 marks on 10th April morning shift got rank below 8000, while the student with similar marks on 8th April evening shift got rank in excess of 15000. MHRD needs to find out the truth and punish the guilty, if any. it also needs to direct NTA to put as much info in public domain as available with it. NTA may also be directed to put all relevant info on its website including the details of CPIO, FAA on its website. not doing so is a gross violation of RTI Act 2005. 2019-06-21 View Reply attached View
