623 DOSEL/R/2016/51292 nil I would like to file RTI with Directorate of Education under Delhi Government for admission under EWS category. I want to file an RTI to know whether all the children get admission in Banyan Tree, Lodhi Colony and Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri are under 0 Km of radius. I reside at 356, Block-18, Lodhi Colony, New Delhi 110003. My elder son Laksh Gupta is already studying in Class IIIrd in Sanskriti School, Chanakyauri, New Delhi under EWS Quota. We have applied admission of my son Dhiren Gupta in Nursery under EWS Category vide registration No. 20160037308 as per the new Guidelines by Delhi Government. He is born on 11th January, 2013 and he is eligible to go to Nursery class for the session 2016 17. I have filled Online Application under EWS Category as per the new Guidelines by Delhi Government and selected Banyan Tree School, Lodhi Colony (0 KM radius) my first preference, which is just 2 min. walk form my residence and in Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri where my elder son is studying. But when the result came he did not get admission in any of the school. I would like to know why my son name has not been shortlisted under EWS category in Banyan Tree, Lodi Colony or in Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri. Are all the children selected for this category are just 2 min. walk away. His elder brother get admission easily under EWS category when there were no such guidelines and the admission under EWS category were taken care of Schools itself. That time was better and this time Delhi Govt. has ruined future of many children. Nursery classes are already started in all schools and our child is sitting at home without any fault. Delhi Government is giving admission to one boy in a girls school and also a child get admission in a school which is 27 KM away from his residence. If they can give admission to child who is living 27 Km away from the school then why not my child can get the admission in Banyan tree which is just 100 mtr. away from my residence. Are all the children who got admission in Banyan Tree Lodhi Road are with-in 0 KM radius. As I mentioned that his sibling (elder brother) is studying in Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri. Please get both the child admitted in Sanskriti. I have written to Sanskriti also and they are ready to take the sibling but Delhi Govt. approval is required for this. So I want to file an RTI to know whether all the children get admission in Banyan Tree, Lodhi Colony and Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri are under 0 Km of radius. I herby request you to kindly help me to get my child admission in any of these schools other wise his whole year will waste.
