As per the Prime Minister Research Fellow Scheme for direct PhD as mentioned in the attached file published in the MHRD website, I have the following queries: 1. Whether students belonging to ST category will get relaxation in CGPA criteria of more than 8.5, that is, will a student belonging to ST category having 8.45 CGPA be eligible to apply. 2. The MHRD has advised all the higher educational institutions which are funded by the Central /State Government and all Institutions which are under approval by the regulatory bodies to adopt clusters of backward Gram Panchayats / villages in their vicinity and apply their knowledge and expertise to improve the infrastructure in the Gram Panchayats (GPs). BE Rs 10 crores has been allocated to Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)for the year 2016-17. Out of which Rs. 5.16 Crores has been released to IIT Delhi, Coordinating Institute of UBA.
