3021 DOHED/R/2015/62175/1 nil Respected Sir As the MHRD funded institute fellowship to all the institute (IITs and NITs). After coming the circular no F.N0.17-2/2014-TS.I dated 2-3-2015 all the institute started paying hike fellowship to their students. But issue is with the department of Humanities and social Sciences and MBA departments. Some institute is paying the hike fellowship with the same circular but some institutes (e.g. NIT Rourkela) are not agree with this circular that there is no where mentioned this hike fellowship is meant for the Humanities and social science and MBA department. (Documents attached) Hence, provide the information of my below four questions: 1) Is there any special notice to each institute related to this hike fellowship for the department of humanities and social sciences 2) As on the basis of above said circular some institutes are giving hike fellowship to their students belongs to Humanities and Social Sciences Department. My question is that NIT Rourkela (Odisha) is coming under this circular or not. 3) Those institutes are giving hike fellowship then under which special circular they are giving the hike fellowship to the student of Humanities and Social Sciences. 4) If question 2 is NO then give us the information of each and every IITs and NITs the amount of scholarship are getting the students belongs to Humanities and Social Sciences department with UGC NET qualification. 27/06/2015 nil Reply attached. My Question Is that : (1) Are the Students pursuing their Ph D under the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of National Institute of Technology getting this hike fellowship. (2) I am pursuing Ph D at NIT under the department of Humanities and Social Sciences. My qualification is Mater in Social Work (MSW) is a professional course and have qualified UGC- NET. Dear Sir, I request you to provide answers to the following queries under RTI-2005 Act. The application is to seek information regarding letter ( F.No. 28-5/2012-TS-I, Govt. of India, MHRD, Deptt. Of Higher Education, Technical section-I) dated 26th November 2013, issued by Mr Alok Mishra (Director IIITs) to Director of IIITDand M Kancheepuram with Subject :- Career Advancement scheme (CAS) clarification-reg. The above said letter was put before the honble HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT MADRAS, in the case W.A.Nos.2187 and 2188 of 2013. In the said case the honble court said:- respondent in his clarification letter dated 26.11.2013 has clearly stated that there is no provision for automatic movement or upgradation to higher grade merely on completion of certain years of service and it has to be done only on the recommendation of a duly constituted selection committee The above said letter(26.11.2013) was presented before the honble high court as further explanation to para 3(ii) of MHRD directive (No.3-2712009-TS.11 Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource, Development ,Department of Higher Education, Technical Section-I1, New Delhi, 3oth December, 2009). The directive dated 30.12.2009 was issued as a part of pay commission recommendations for CFTIs. To RTI application dated 11.10.2014 filed by Mrs R. Rithika from Chennai. In the reply (dated 22nd Oct. 2014) CPIO of MHRD stated that for the implementation of para 3(ii) of above said MHRD directive(dated 30.12.2009), it was never modified/clarified so as to insist for interview/selection committee. Please provide the following information:- 1.Please provide the name of highest authority at whose direction Mr Alok Mishra issued the above said letter dated 26.11.2013. 2.In case, Mr Alok Mishra issued the letter on his own then please quote the rule under which Mr Alok Mishra (holding post of director at MHRD) can amend a document which was issued as part of pay commission recommendation through his letter dated 26.11.2013. PhD Admission (July / January 2015-16) Sr. No. PW1731888 Humanities and Social Sciences - Reg No. RHS201510019 Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management- Reg. No RMG201510013 I have cleared the written test and results of interview was supposed to be announced by end of May 2015. The portal mentions that the result has been announced and check your status in online application portal. However the online application portal still mentions Your application is being evaluated . IIT Bombay Academic Office will inform the results when decision is made. I went to IIT Bombay to check the result, but there they mentioned that result is available only online and staff there also do not have access to result. Unofficially they told me that if I have not received the mail than I should assume that I have not cleared the interview. I am very surprised. First I believe the total list of people who have passed should be put up on the portal and also in the college. It should not be left to assumption. Secondly, I am very sure that I did very well in all aspects and I am surprised that I have not made it to the final list. I want information on: 1. What all parameters (written test, interview, profile, experience, etc) were considered for final call and what was the weight-age assigned to various parameters for PhD admission in both SJ Mehta and HSS department 2. What was my total score and score under various parameters in both SJ Mehta and HSS exam 3. What was the cut off score for each parameter 4. What is the final list of people who have received the final call and what are their scores under all parameters 5. As I was selected after the written test, it means I did not do well in interview. I would like to see copy of evaluation sheet of each faculty member who where there for my interview. I would like to understand what all parameters (speaking ability, control on language, subject knowledge, keenness to pursue the course, etc.) were being evaluated during interview, what were the weight-ages and how I scored on each parameter. I am requesting for these information as I am very confident that I did very well in the written exam and the interview. I am very keen to pursue PhD at IIT Bombay and do not want to loose out due to some clerical error. Request your early response.
