As an M.Tech student of IIT Guwahati, I was about to receive 12,400 Rs. in every month as scholarship provided by MHRD. But, in some months, I received less amount of scholarship due to less attendance given on those months in Biometric Fingerprint Attendance Machine handled by office of Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati. I want to know whether my attendance details for each month had been directly(or indirectly) sent to MHRD from the office of Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering and then according to my days of attendance(in each month), the scholarship amount was calculated, processed and sent to the Institute(or department). And if this process was not followed for these months, i.e., the exact amount of scholarship (12,400 Rs./month) being disbursed from MHRD, then I want to know where the deducted amount of my scholarship was utilized in those months where I had received less amount of scholarship. \nI have attached one file as an example of getting less scholarship for the months of January,2016 and April, 2016 which were received on 10th February,2016 and 7th May,2016 respectively. |

Dear Sir/Madam,\n\nIIT Indore recently has passed a circular of shifting its students to permanent Simrol campus which is still under construction. Most of the buildings being incomplete and hazardous are causing severe respiratory issues, vision impairments and allergies amongst students. A number of cases have been registered to the institute dispensary. But the institute has turned a blind eye. In this regard, according to RTI Act 2005, I wish to ask the following questions:-\n\na) Is the housing of classrooms and labs in the under construction campus of Simrol, IIT Indore legal.\n\nb) What precautions has IIT Indore taken to deal with such health hazards.\n\nc)Have the authorities dealt with such cases firmly.\n\nd) Has the Institute taken the responsibility of each and every student in this reference.\n\ne) Were any accidents reported since July 2015.\n\nf) Has the campus been tested for noise pollution, air pollution and water pollution.\n\ng) Is drinking water available in the buildings where students have been housed.\n\nh) Are first aid kits available in each and every building.\n\ni) Is there an ambulance available at all times in Simrol and Silver Springs.\n\nj) Are there medical staffs and Doctors on call in both Simrol and Silver Springs around the clock. |
