IIT Delhi conducted aptitude test on 15-may-2017 for admissions of Mtech programme-2017 in the Mechanical department. It has predefined that aptitude test will carry 30% weightage and Gate score will carry 70% during final selection of a candidate.Now they have released their first list of selected candidates in the Mechanical department.
Please provide following information:
1. The formula they have used to calculate the final score of a candidate.
2. My checked response sheet with its answer key, my application no is 5640.
3. Cut-offs of selected candidates(Mtech) Mechanical design(MEM) stream & in Thermal(MET) for General category.

The CPIO responded that the information sought is not available with them. Please note that before the enactment of The Central educational institutions Reservation in Admission Act 2006, MHRD was the supervising ministry and thus any orders regarding reservations in admissions before the passage of The Central educational institutions Reservation in Admission Act 2006 would have been passed by MHRD.
Hence I appeal to you to provide copy of executive order/GO/DO which specified the nature of reservations to be followed by IIMs BEFORE the passage of the Central educational institutions Reservation in Admission Act 2006. |
