Hello Sir, I want to know that why IIT BHU Varanasi doesnt follow its specified dates for result declaration and marks display and always delays which causes many troubles to the students. I also want to know when and how the graduate students of 2015 batch will receive their degrees if they have not attended the convoation function happened on 17 October, 2015. Although I have completed all the formalities I havent received my degree yet. I mailed DOAA regarding the sme but he didnt reply. Also I want to know why the MHRD is not in option of RTI. Is it because of Department of Higher Education is the one which takes RTI for MHRD. |

For the year 2015, JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) was constituted for admission to various IITs and NITs. According to rules they have to refund the seat acceptance fees of Rs. 45,000 (after deducting Rs. 1000) to the students who got seat in any of the IITs or NITs but did not report at any of the Reporting centers. The fees for those who got seat in an IIT has not been refunded till 16/11/2015 (For those who got seat in NIT or SFTI or IIIT has been refunded but this is not the case with IIT). There is no notification on the official website josaa.nic.in for refund and the contact numbers do not work(always switched off). Please tell me: (1)When will it be refunded. (2)Contact person in case of any discrepancy. (3)Status of my refund(Divansh Arora JEE Main roll number- 13934285) Attached is a screenshot from 20/10/2015 when the site was open for refund of NIT which showed me ineligible for fee refund(although I paid the fees). |
