In the attached job advertisement IITM/R/6/2018 dated 17.10.2018, it seems from the table in F.4 that the Institute is providing HRA at 24 per cent rate according to the revised rates of allowance of 7th CPC. \nThis seems to be in contravention of MHRD order No 15-4/2017-TC dated 27.10.2017 Para 7, which required all allowances to be paid at existing pay structure, as if pay has not been revised with effect from 01.01.2016.\nIn this context, kindly provide me the certified copies of the relevant orders from MHRD allowing payment of HRA and other allowance at the revised rate, as has been promised in the advertisement by IIT Madras, in supersession of the abovementioned MHRD order.\nThanks. |
